Applications for the positions of “Instructors” for the GTTCI in Port Mourant!
The Government of Guyana, through the Office of the President is seeking to employ eight (8) Instructors who themselves will be trained to become full time Instructors of the new Guyana Technical Training College Incorporated (GTTCI), being built in Port Mourant, Berbice.
The instructors, once fully qualified, will train students to become Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Production Technicians who will be working on the Floating Production, Storage and Off-loading (FPSO) ships in Guyana’s Atlantic waters. It is expected that the GTTCI’s new campus in Port Mourant will become operational in October 2025.
Requirements:
- Must be Guyanese national
- Experience in technical training in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Production skills will be a definite asset.
- An appropriate Technical Diploma will be the minimum requirement.
- Must be prepared to be trained on the FPSOs offshore and to work full-time in Port Mourant, Berbice as employees of the GTTCI.
- Will need to meet requirements to work offshore (including Helicopter Underwater Escape Training).
