Purpose and Objectives of Guidelines

The Local Content Master Plan Guideline:

• Provides guidance to Contractors, Sub-Contractors, or Licensees on their obligation, under the Act to submit a Master Plan to the Minister for approval;
• Outlines the relevant information to be included in the Master Plan to be submitted to the Minister for approval;
• Promotes effective and efficient procedures for the standardisation of the submissions to the Secretariat; and
• Outlines the steps after submission of the Master Plan.
