RFI - Request for Information
Note! This Notice has expired.
1. Objective
To provide a Image Logs Processing and Interpretation Services to the REPSOL Project in GUYANA.
2. Background
REPSOL intends to operate in the following manner:
- Majority of personnel accommodated in a hotel in Georgetown (GT).
- Some staff accommodated in other areas (TBD).
- Alternative offices
- A permanent office in GT.
- A port logistics base outside of GT (Shorebase).
- Offshore operations.
Personnel will move between the international airport(s), their accommodation, the office and the logistics base1
3. Scope of Work
Context
Drilling operations will start in the well Beebei-1 on May 15, 2022 and it is located in the Kanuku Block in offshore Guyana. Services provided under this contract would cover operations for both 2022. The estimated operation time for the well is 60 days.
The water depth is 71m and the TD of the well will be 4539m MDRT / 4390m TVDSS. The geological targets are Oligocene, Upper Campanian and Lower Campanian. The Beebei-1 exploratory well will target two main objectives and one secondary objective. The main objectives include one in the Tertiary (Oligocene) and one in the Upper Cretaceous (Upper Campanian). The Tertiary prospect is defined as a stratigraphic updip pinch out trapping well-confined channel complex sandstones. The Upper Campanian prospect is defined as a stratigraphic updip pinch out trapping moderately confined channel complex sandstones. The secondary objective is targeting Upper Cretaceous (Lower Campanian) stratigraphic updip poorly confined channel complex sandstones.
Six wells have been previously drilled in the Kanuku block (Carapa-1, Jaguar-1, Berbice -2, Abary-1 and Mahaica-1 and 2).
Image Logs Processing and Interpretation Services
As part of the formation evaluation services for the Beebei-1 well, in case of success a resistivity borehole imaging tool will be run over up to three reservoir intervals in two different hole sections, 14 ½” and 10 5/8”. A total reservoir section of up to 500 m may be requested to be interpreted. The request is to have a QC, processing, and geological interpretation of the resistivity image log. In case of success, it is planned to acquire SWC, this data could be integrated in the study to calibrate those mages.
